Cokesbury's UMM meets at 6:30 p.m. the third Thursday of each month in the Fellowship Hall. Bring a steak, chicken, or whatever you like to grill, and enjoy the fellowship of the men of God in our church.
United Methodist Men strive to be a creative, supportive fellowship of men who seek to know Jesus Christ, to grow spiritually and to seek His will daily. UMM's primary purpose is to declare the centrality of Christ in the lives of men and in all their relationships.
UMM's major concerns are:
To engage daily in Bible study and prayer;
To bear witness to Christ's way in daily work and in all personal contacts through words and actions; and
To engage in Christian service.
Major events for the UMM for the rest of 2010:
Pancake breakfast April 4, served after Easter sunrise service;
Wives and widows dinner at 7 p.m. May 20 at Golden Corral (make reservations with Butch); and
UMM/UMW Christmas meal Dec. 16 in the Fellowship Hall.
