Easter events -- Easter
begins around Cokesbury March 27 with an Easter egg hunt from 3-5
p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. Join us as we have fun and
fellowship, and find those eggs! All are invited. Holy Week starts
with Palm Sunday March 28. March 31, we will join St. James United
Methodist Church, 439 Greene Street in Augusta, for their noon
service. Pastor Liza will be offering the message. The service is
followed with a low-cost lunch in the Fellowship Hall. Cokesbury
will host a Good Friday service at 6:30 p.m. April 2, with a
service of reflection and Stations of the Cross in our main
sanctuary. Easter Sunday, April 4, begins with a 7:30 a.m. sunrise
service by the cross, followed by a free pancake breakfast at 8:15

Sunday school assembly -- Beginning at
9:30 a.m. March 21, we will have an assembly prior to Sunday school, celebrating
with a devotion, birthdays, anniversaries and fellowship. Please feel free to
come and join us as we prepare our hearts to learn more about our Lord, Jesus
Christ. If you are not a member of a Sunday school class, this will be a great
time to come and visit with us. You might just find a class that helps you to
learn more about God. |
